  Our penthouse was huge, and the view was amazing. The carpet needs replacing (probably with tile...) and the twin beds in the guest room along with non-working television and a much smaller bathroom makes this condo not a two couple place - more like a family with kids. The place was a little too pricey not to be in tip-top shape, but the location and size more than made up for it.

  I experienced yet another wonderful stay at the Poipu Kapili Resort. The condo's are extremely clean, well furnished with all that you would ever need, and the staff is ever so courteous and accommodating. What more could anybody ask for? I will be back again soon!

  Unit is large and comfortable - but a little tired. It needs an umbrella for the front lanai - otherwise it is to hot to use during the day, and it is a great space.

  Mary and the stsaff were wonderful - the view from our lanai was magnificent, and the apce and ight were great. The place does need some updating - we were going to be in a different unit but had to change, and the other unit was much more updated with a much better kitchen - but those were minor - the biggest issue was the beds - they were rock hard - and we had to have twins "converted" into a king - and they pushed them together and put blankets or bedding between them, and built the middle up so it wouldn't separate - which just creates a lump in the middle of a hard bed. When I asked about a mattress pad to cover the beds, they said they didn't have any. We were supposed to be in Unit #1, which we first saw, but had to change to #28 because of the stairs (we had an injured party). They were very gracious and helpful in changing us over, and the light and space in unit 28 were great - but unit 1 was much better furnished and kept up - the grouting, carpeting and kitchen were definitely showing wear in unit 28. Investing in mattress pads at the very least would be a big improvement - both for any twin to king "conversions" and just for comfort.

  Penthouse condo unit very spacious, great ocean view from front, very peaceful unit and quiet, polite other guests. Furniture very comfortable. TV, wireless, excellent. Kitchen and bathrooms could use extensive re-modeling and updating.
