  My family and I just returned from a week at Poipu Kapili.
  We were extremely pleased with unit 17. It was very well stocked and light and airy. The King bed was very comfortable.
  The view was fantastic from both the patio and Master. The pool and grounds are lovely and very well kept. We loved the accessibility to Poipu Beach but then returning to the peacefulness at Poipu Kapili.
  The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times
  Thank you for an absolutely fabulous stay, we will be back!

  I some times have to work in Kauai For a few weeks at a time. This is like going home every night. The staff makes you feel welcome and lets you know what there is to do & see. The outside is one of the best looking places I have ever stayed even the grass was like walking on carpet. Loved it and looking forward to getting back soon.

  This condo is a nice one that overlooks the pool, with a fine view of the ocean as well. It is nicely furnished and quite comfortable, fully outfitted for, say, a family of four or two couples for either a short or an extended stay. Both of the bedrooms have high efficiency A/C stand-up units that comfortably cool the bedrooms, ensuring a good night's sleep. The kitchen and the bathrooms have granite top counters and attractive faucets. The kitchen has plenty of dishware and glassware that, as do all of the other condos, have an island look about them. There are plenty of cooking utensils, but be aware that the knives aren't all that sharp (bring your own like I do if you want to do a bit of cooking ... and an extra cutting board since the one in the condo is kind of small). A great flat screen is situated in the corner of the living room by the lanai doors, ensuring a good view from all angles (both bedrooms also have nice flatscreens). The living room has an ell-shaped couch that is COMFORTABLE to crash on after a hard day's work and the bottom floor is tile which feels really good underfoot. My one real criticism with this condo is that the living room and kitchen is HOT because of the angle of the building in relation to the way the wind blows. No matter how far you open the louvers, the rooms are still warm at best ... and the bedrooms would be VERY uncomfortable without the A/C (but trust me, the A/C works great in them). Regarding the Kapili overall, as always, the grounds are beautiful and the staff friendly and loving. This property by far is my favorite place to stay on Kauai.

  Overall very happy with experience. Some street noise at night. After some discussion, staff accommodated a late check out time which we appreciated.
