  We have rented several condos and homes in different vacation places--Poipu Kapili was by far the cleanest and best maintained! # 57 was spotless--if my kids so much as dropped a crumb, I was on them to pick/wipe it up immediately! There are not enough words to describe our positive experience--clean, beautiful grounds, quiet, gorgeous view, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, great location, reasonable drive or walk to beaches, sunsets, sunsets, and more sunsets! We loved every minute. Our only regret was only being able to stay for a week. It's a long and expensive flight from Indiana, so that was our only bitter pill--too short of a visit in such a special place. The staff at Poipu Kapili was very friendly and professional. Each helped with all my countless questions about Kauai and the complex. I cannot see how you could be disappointed here. Most units do not have AC, as I guess is common in HI. Visiting in March was not a problem for us--each room has a ceiling fan and portable fans if needed. With the trade winds and open windows, we got plenty of fresh air. We most certainly hope to return to PK someday--there is way too much to do on Kauai to limit the experience to one week.
